ABOUT ME
I grew up in Hartford, MI. I went to Hartford Public Schools all throughout my K-12 career.
When I was a freshman, I had the idea of becoming a writer. However, during my junior year, I had made the decision I wanted to be a teacher. I had little to no idea of which career choices I could or wanted to pursue. However, I knew I liked to write, reading was one of my favorite parts of school, I liked the idea of being able to help other people, and of being a role model to young people. In my senior year, I was all in with the decision and started planning out my future,
After I graduated, I attended Southwestern Michigan College (SMC). SMC was a great school to begin my college education as I knew I still had so much to learn about myself as a student. I didn't think I was ready to make the jump from high school to university, so I made the decision to go to a two-year school first. In hindsight, it was a great decision for my education from a learner's perspective and financial perspective. After my time at SMC, I attended Western Michigan University to finish the rest of my schooling.
I am excited to be teaching and can't wait to meet new students. I look forward to getting to know everyone and to begin learning together.
Hobbies etc.
Some of my hobbies include playing and watching soccer, playing video games, listening to music, and watching tv.
I played soccer in every year of high school and continue to play in adult leagues with my friends. My favorite team is Real Madrid. I hope to go watch them play one day in Spain.
